No cookies are set — not for analytics, not for advertising, not for preferences, and not for session management. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to, and a banner asking permission for cookies that do not exist would be theatre.

This remains true now that Google Analytics is in use. The tag is configured with Consent Mode denying every storage category and with client storage switched off, so it sets no cookie and creates no identifier for you. That is a deliberate trade: it costs the ability to recognise a returning visitor, and it is what allows this page to keep saying what it says. See privacy for the detail.

The tools remember your choices by putting them in the URL rather than in storage, which is why a set of filters can be bookmarked and shared and why nothing persists once you leave.
