HoneyHQ sets no cookies of its own. Optional analytics run only if you accept.
Always on: local storage
Your analytics choice is stored using your browser’s local storage, on your device only. It is not sent to HoneyHQ or anyone else and is not used for tracking or advertising — it exists purely so that you are not asked the same question on every page. Clearing your browser’s site data will clear it. This is considered strictly necessary for the feature that uses it and does not itself require a consent choice.
Optional: analytics
HoneyHQ uses Google Analytics (GA4) to record which pages and tools are used — never personal data and never the free text or filters you type into a tool. The list of events HoneyHQ can send is fixed in its own code rather than open-ended, and a value outside that list is discarded before it is sent.
It runs only for visitors who have actively accepted analytics; declining, or not deciding, keeps it off entirely — no script is loaded and no request reaches Google. When active, Google sets its own analytics cookies (typically named _ga and _ga_*) and processes the events HoneyHQ sends under Google’s own privacy practices.
