What HoneyHQ collects, and what it does with it.
What is collected
HoneyHQ has no accounts, no user-submitted content and no advertising. The single third-party service is Google Analytics 4, and it runs only if you accept it. Declining, or not answering, means no analytics script is loaded, no request reaches Google, and no cookie is set.
Your choice, and where it is kept
The banner asks once. Your answer is stored in your browser’s local storage under honeyhq:consent, on your device only — it is never sent anywhere. You can change it at any time on the cookies page, which also lists everything stored on your device.
What an event can contain
If you accept, the events HoneyHQ can send are a fixed vocabulary defined in its code: a section name, a catalogue entry’s identifier, a tool name, and a coarse band for how many results a tool returned. There is no field that can carry free text, and a value outside the vocabulary is discarded before it is sent rather than trusted. This is enforced by automated tests, not by convention.
Two of Google Analytics’ defaults are switched off for the same reason. Automatic page views are disabled, because they report the full address of every page — which on this site would include everything typed into a tool. HoneyHQ sends its own instead, carrying a section name such as honey or plants. The page address reported alongside every event is also stripped of its query string, so filters, amounts and searches never leave your browser. Advertising signals and ad personalisation are disabled, and no advertising domain is permitted to load by the site’s content security policy.
Cookies
HoneyHQ sets none of its own. If you accept analytics, Google sets its own — see the cookies page.
What the tools do with your input
Every tool on this site is a plain form that puts its state in the URL and renders the result on the server. Nothing is stored, nothing is logged against you, and nothing about what you entered is sent anywhere else. Closing the page ends it.

Source links point to external sites, which have their own privacy practices. They open in a new tab and carry no referrer beyond the origin.
Changes
If anything here changes — a different provider, storage of any kind, or advertising — this page will say so before the change takes effect, not after. HoneyHQ is operated by HEKNO Ltd.
