Every source HoneyHQ cites, what kind of source it is, and the rules that decide how much weight it can carry.
What a source type decides
A source's type is not decoration. A claim may only sit on the top tier — established evidence — if at least one systematic review, meta-analysis, regulatory guidance or clinical guidance document supports it. That makes the top tier structurally expensive to reach, which is the intent: a textbook and a producer's spec sheet are both useful and neither can promote a claim to the strongest tier on its own.
Why producer and retailer material is listed at all
Excluding it would be dishonest about where some information genuinely comes from — a packer's own specification is the best record of what they filter and to what. It is far better to cite it and let the type speak than to launder it into something anonymous.
HoneyHQ synthesis
A great deal of what a reference site says is editorial synthesis across a field rather than a restatement of one document. "Acacia honey stays liquid because it is fructose-dominant" is not a finding anybody published — it is the standard understanding assembled from several. Citing that to a fabricated paper would be a lie; citing it to nothing would hide it. So it is listed as what it is, and it can never carry a claim to the top tier.

Cited for the fact of the divergence, never as advice on compliance.
Masonry bees: technical advice

Building-conservation guidance on solitary bees in mortar, and the reason this site can state the damage question without either alarming or dismissing a reader. It is unusual in saying plainly that a few holes will not cause significant decay and that mortar bees are not generally as building-unfriendly as perceived, while also describing the conditions under which dense aggregations of an excavating species do matter. Cited for the building position; the entomology comes from the field-guide literature.

Argues that analyses excluding the low spatial frequencies relevant to bee vision introduce spurious correlations between visual features and number, and that recalculating stimulus properties across the spectrum a bee actually resolves leaves a residual sensitivity to numerosity. The Hive and the Honey-Bee (L. L. Langstroth)

Langstroth's own account, published the year after his patent. THE REASON IT IS CITED AS A PRIMARY TEXT AND NOT AS HISTORY: it is where he sets out the bee-space principle and the hive built on it, and it is also an interested party's account of his own priority. What it establishes is what Langstroth claimed and when; who first observed the spacing, and who built movable frames before him, are questions for the secondary literature.
Importance of pollinators in changing landscapes for world crops
