Bee pollen vs honey
Bee pollen is sold as a superfood and honey is sold as a food. The nutritional case for pollen is stronger than for honey and weaker than its marketing, and it carries a real allergy risk.
Which to choose
Honey for eating and for the narrow uses where it has evidence. Bee pollen is a reasonable food if you like it and want a protein-containing hive product, and it is not a treatment. Anyone with a pollen allergy or a history of anaphylaxis should avoid it entirely.
Why these get compared
Both are hive products in the same aisle, and pollen is frequently positioned as the more serious health product. That positioning has some basis and considerably less than claimed.

Where the difference is overstated
Bee pollen's health claims comprehensively, and particularly the claim that it desensitises against hay fever. There is no good evidence for it, the mechanism is not plausible, and it is being recommended to precisely the people at greatest risk of reacting badly.
