House bee

Any worker doing work inside the nest rather than foraging.

Bees

Definition

A collective term covering cell cleaning, nursing, comb building, receiving nectar, ventilating and guarding — everything a worker does before she becomes a forager. House bees receive nectar loads from returning foragers and do most of the work of turning nectar into honey.
