Definition
Mason bees, leafcutter bees, resin bees, scissor bees and yellow-faced bees all use beetle borings, hollow stems, wall crevices and bee hotel tubes. They seal their cells with mud, chewed leaf, resin or leaf discs depending on the group, and the sealing material identifies the occupant.
