Labelling
Definition
A PDO restricts a name to product made in a defined area by a defined method. Honey designations include Miel de Corse, Miel de La Alcarria and Miel de Sapin des Vosges, and they typically set limits on harvest period, processing and heating as well as geography. Misusing the name is a legal matter rather than a commercial judgement.
