Saudi Arabia honey

The largest honey market in the Gulf and a substantial producer in its own right, with sidr from the Asir and Jazan highlands and talh from the acacia wadis.

How honey is produced here

Production is concentrated in the southwestern highlands, where altitude gives a flora the desert interior cannot. Saudi Arabia is also the largest importer of Yemeni sidr honey, which means the same honey is frequently sold under both origins.
