Far more honey is sold as Anzer than the plateau produces.
Production from the Anzer plateau is a few tonnes annually. The quantity offered for sale under the name, domestically and online, is a substantial multiple of that. Certification and pollen analysis schemes exist specifically to address this, which is itself evidence of the scale of the problem.
What this does not claim: This does not claim any particular seller is dishonest, nor that certified Anzer honey is unavailable. It also makes no claim about whether the genuine honey justifies its price.
