Neem honey is used extensively in Ayurvedic practice for a range of conditions.
The use is long-established, documented and widespread. It is recorded here as traditional use. The neem plant has been the subject of substantial pharmacological research, mostly on leaf and seed extracts rather than on nectar or honey, and that work does not establish the therapeutic claims made for the honey.
